Foyer Upgrade - New Displays

Here at the Stardome an exciting project is taking shape. Our foyer is
getting a face-lift with new displays and interactive exhibits!

The centerpiece of this project is a Magic Planet, which is a large
digital video globe with images projected from inside. The Magic Planet
is a fun and educational tool that will be able to show us the surface
of the Earth, Moon, Mars and other planets. It will be able to go
backwards and forwards in time or add atmosphere and weather using
control buttons around the edge.

The Magic Planet and other exhibits will be arriving throughout July and
August 2010. We apologise for any disruption during this time, and hope
you will re-join us in September when we launch the new design with a
showcase of cutting edge technology.
