TELESCOPE SALE NIGHT 2011 - 8pm Tuesday 29th November

Our team will show off different makes and models of telescope  and explain the differences so you can find one that's right for your purposes and level of experience - from beginners right through to experts.

 

We'll also be screening for you our popular Planetarium show 'Two Small Pieces of Glass,' which traces the history of the telescope from Galileo's modifications to a child's spy glass (using two small pieces of glass) through to NASA's Hubble Space Telescope. The show explains how telescopes are used today to unlock the mysteries of the Universe, and how they have helped us understand our place in space.
