Corporate events

Our two most popular choices for private events are a full-venue hire, or the more intimate Sun Room. The prices and features of each of those options are listed below. If you require something different, please get in touch and we can tailor a package to your needs. Both the Sun Room and Space Room (the latter is a larger room included in full-venue hire) include the following features:
 
  • Ceiling projector and screen
  • Electronic whiteboard with printer
  • Wireless internet access (WIFI)
  • Use your laptop or ours
  • Air conditioning / heating
  • Catering kitchen for your own use or hire in a caterer (see suggestions below)

We are happy to help you configure the room to your requirements, but please allow time for you or your staff to set up and decorate, plus clean up at the end of the event (we ask that all rubbish is removed before you leave).
 
 


Sun Room hire

 
The ability to hire the Sun Room separate to the rest of Stardome means it's an attractive option for meetings, seminars and team-building days. Windows overlook the leafy One Tree Hill Domain, so you get plenty of natural light. Chairs and tables can be configured for a number of scenarios or we can take them out for standing-room functions.

Full-venue hire


 
Includes foyer, Sun Room (features listed above), Space Room, kitchen and planetarium dome theatre. The Space Room has many uses, from an 87-seat seminar room to a function space with tables and chairs provided. We've held weddings and product launches here, and are happy to work with you on any idea. The Space Room has a lecturn controlling all lighting and projection, as well as a PA system with microphone. Our foyer area is often used for cocktail functions with plenty of room for portable banners, displays and signage. The planetarium, with 87 reclining seats and a private screening included in your full-venue hire cost, makes every event something to remember. Ask about projection of your own content or logo on the 360-degree dome (extra charges may apply).

Catering

 
We have a fully equipped catering kitchen that is available for your use. This includes steriliser, microwave, oven and boiling water urn. For up to 30 guests, we can provide cutlery, crockery and serving accessories such as coffee plungers, water and milk jugs.
