Tycho to the Moon

Meet Tycho, a dog who doesn’t just howl at the moon, but wants to go there.

Recommended 3+

Blast off on an amazing ride into space with Tycho and his young friends Ruby and Michael. Learn about night and day, space travel, the phases of the Moon and features of the lunar surface. Take a close-up look at the Sun, watch the effects of gravity, see the Earth from space and watch meteors shoot across the night sky.

Following the show, you will take a trip into outer space with a live, family-friendly tour of the night sky exploring the stars above Auckland or a special planetary flyby zooming past Jupiter, Mars, Venus and other Solar System planets.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for shows. Late entry into the planetarium is not possible once the show has started.
