Welcome to Stardome, the coolest little observatory this side of Neptune. Located in Cornwall Park, Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa. Sharing our love and mātauranga of all things space since 1967.
All staff on-site are fully vaccinated, and visitors will need to wear a mask.

HOW TO FIND US
Stardome is located inside Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill Domain), Auckland
- Stardome's entrance, planetarium, and toilets are wheelchair accessible.
- The planetarium has space for 3-4 wheelchairs depending on size and type.
- The Zeiss telescope is not wheelchair accessible and has four steps leading up to it.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
Late entry to shows is not permitted after the planetarium doors have closed. The planetarium environment is not suitable for children under the age of three. Please ask a staff member or refer to the Stardome Show Guide for age recommendations for each show. Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times, in accordance with section 10B of the Summary Offences Act 1981. We accept no liability for any loss or damage to any car in the carpark. It is recommended that valuable items are hidden from view or removed from the vehicle. Please be aware that the lower carpark in front of the playground is locked at 7.00pm. The use of cellphones and recording devices is not permitted in the planetarium. Please wear a mask.
